The Mininster For Transport Mike Penning is looking at making the motorcycle test a single test scrapping the current Mod 1 test and doing the swerve and avoidance excercise on the road . My personal feelings are that this can put trainees safety at risk. If there are like minded people out there like me let me know on face book or better still write to you local MP and voice your opinion

Good to see another group of happy customers who passed thier Module 1 and Module 2 tests over the past few days 9 out of 9 aint bad. I would like to thank them for the time and effort they put in to the training THANKS FOLKS!!!!!

GOLD COURSE

IT HAS NOW BEEN A YEAR SINCE WE INTRODUCED OUR DAS GOLD COURSE AND THOSE WHO TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE POST TEST ADVANCED LESSONS HAVE GIVEN GOOD POSITIVE FEED BACK. THEY HAVE TOLD US THAT THE POST TEST ADVANCED LESSONS HAVE MADE THEM MORE CONFIDENT IN THIER RIDING ABILITIES ESPECIALLY WHEN RIDING ON COUNTRY ROADS.

Yesterday we were doing CBT’s and what a pleasure it was doing our job in lovely weather this is what being a bike instructor is all about. The trainee’s enjoyed their day with us and have decided to return and take their motorcycling further by doing the DAS course. Hopefully this is one of many days to come as far as the weather is concerned (HOPE i HAVENT JINXED IT)

BIKE RUN

My friend and I went for a bike run on Sunday the 18th. We went to Stranrear then across to Newton Stewart the weather was great and made the day even better we then headed over to New Galloway and took in the nice views as much as we could LOL. It was a bit strange being out on the open road for enjoyment and not for work. The last time I went for a run on the bike was last year and I realised just how rusty you can get when not getting out as often I would like so for you people who have their bikes stored over the winter and are getting them out for the first time this year please be carefull because you might find you are not as good as you were when you put the bike away at the end of the season last year.

MODULE 1 TRAINING

Westcoast has now started to hire the test centre to train for Module 1 at no extra cost to the student. This will give students a greater advantage when it comes to their Mod 1 test. The format will remain the same.You will be trained by your Westcoast Bike Training Instructor.
