A2 INTERMEDIATE FLEXIBLE/ INTENSIVE COURSE

Due to the changes from 19th January the new A2 Licence will be basically the same as the Direct Access Course you will get the CBT, 18 hours of training on the bike Module 1 and Module 2 test fee’s Bike hire and equipment hire the cost for this course will be £630.
The A2 Intensive course will be as the A2 Flexible course but the hours for the Intensive course will be 22 hours of Training.The full details will be posted on our web site at a later date.

AYRSHIRE ROADS!!!!

Its so good to see the council doing decent road repairs on the A77. I have heard a few people complaining about the time they have to spend waiting in traffic at these road works but we complain when our main roads are sub standard. I just hope SAC continues not just with the 77 but with all the roads which need to be upgraded to a good safe standard. We as bikers no the dangers, riding on many of our roads in Ayrshire with deep pot holes, cracks and tarmac breaking away at the road side. WE JUST CANT ENJOY OURSELFS THE WAY WE USED TO LOL…..

New Bikes

We purchased two Honda CBF 600′s for Motorcycle Training in AYR to comply with the EU Directive and they have been a big hit with the Trainees everyone seems to really like riding them which is good to hear, we aim to please.

It has eventually arrived and I dont know how much it will affect the motorcycle training industry we will just have to wait and see. I am really pleased we managed to get the majority of our under 24 year old trainees past their test before this was implemented.

Motorbike Routes on Scotland’s West Coast

Free from traffic, (or at least less than the rest of the country), the rugged terrain of the West Coast of Scotland offers bikers an unparalleled
experience as they wind their way through the hills and valleys found in the area. This beautiful yet
harsh landscape also comes with narrow roads and freely roaming wildlife which may provide quite
a challenge. Those with the necessary skills can find the following highlights in the area:

Oban to Portree (Isle of Skye): One of the more popular routes in the region offers up
both fast biking roads and stupendous views. There are also plenty of petrol stations and
restaurants along the way so neither you nor your bike will go hungry.

Kyle of Lochalsh to New Kelso to Applecross to Fearnmore to Balgy: The winding roads along
this route are perfect for those who prefer a slow, meandering ride through some amazing
surroundings. Plenty of abrupt corners provide a challenge to the expert biker.

Ullapool Loop: From Ullapool up towards Durness and then back through Lairg, this is a
route that really rewards those who accept the challenge. The roads can be quite narrow but
the spectacular ocean and loch views make this extra difficulty all the more worthwhile.
