WESTCOAST BIKE TRAINING
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Compulsory Basic Training:
On the day of the Compulsory Basic Training course all students MUST produce the plastic photo card and paper counter part of a current and valid UK licence. Students with the old style licence must produce a valid UK passport or valid photographic ID. Failure to produce any off the afore mentioned will mean the CBT cannot be carried out due to the legal requirements that Westcoast Bike Training must adhere to as set out by the Driving Standard Agency.

1 & 3 Attempt – Approximately will take around 6 hours to complete however the instructor may give the student more time if the instructor feels the student may be close to achieving the required standard.
Should the student show signs of having difficulty completing the Compulsory Basic Training course the instructor at his or her discretion may terminate the Compulsory Basic Training course at any time. The student will then be offered another day to return for further training which will be mutually agreed with the student and Westcoast Bike Training at a time and day which is convenient to both parties.

The cost for the Compulsory Basic Training Course 1 will be set out by westcoast bike training which entitles the student to 1 attempt at the CBT should the student not reach the required standard on the day and returns for a re-sit a cost of £40 will be charged.
The cost for the Compulsory Training Course 3 attempt will be set out by westcoast bike training which entitles the student to have their second or third attempt at no extra cost should a second or third attempt be required. Should the student achieve the standard required on their first attempt no money will be refunded. If the student requires more than 3 attempts they will be charged £40 per re-sit. Any student wishing to sit the CBT on their own motorcycle or moped the above terms and conditions apply with the exception of cost which will be set out by westcoast bike training. All students using their own machines MUST insure they are road worthy and MUST produce their legal documentation for inspection by a Westcoast Bike Training instructor. Should the student not produce any of the above the CBT will not be carried out.

125 COURSE
The course will be conducted by a DSA approved instructor. With this course the student will receive the CBT unless the student has already passed the Compulsory Basic Training Course with another motorcycle training organisation where a discount will be offered at the discretion of Westcoast Bike Training should the student have passed the CBT with Westcoast Bike Training and returns within a 4 week period to start the course the full cost of the CBT will be deducted from the course fee, however if the student exceeds this time scale of 4 weeks then a discount will be given at the discretion of WBT.
The course comprises of a CBT, 14 hours on road training, 4 hours off road training, module 1 test fee and module 2 test fee any additional lessons are charged as per the WBT price list and any additional re-sit test fee’s are as charged by the Driving Standard Agency.

125 4 DAY COURSE
This course applies as above with the exception of hours the student will receive 18 hours of on road training and 4 hours of off road training, any four day course must be paid in full before the course commences and the theory and hazard awareness test must be completed at least one week before the start of the course.

INTENSIVE DAS COURSE
Within this course the student will receive The CBT, 22 hours of on road training in preparation for the module 2 test and 4 hours of off road training for the module 1 test, all test fees are included in the price of the course however should the student fail any test they will be required to pay for re-sits also bike hire and pre-test any additional lessons taken by the student will also include an additional charge at a discounted rate. Also included in this course is bike hire and equipment.

DAS FLEXIBLE COURSE
This course provides the student with CBT, 20 hours of on road training in preparation for the module 2 test and 4 hours of off road training for the module 1 test, all test fees are included in the price of the course and as above should the student fail any test they will pay for re-sits, bike hire and pre-test. The DAS FLEXIBLE course allows the student to train at their own pace doing the maximum or minimum lessons/week. Also included in this course is bike hire and equipment.

PAY AS YOU GO SCHEME
This scheme is designed for the DAS plus course. Any student taking advantage of this scheme will pay a deposit and the student is required to make payment on a regular basis until the course is paid in full. The course must be paid in full 1 week prior to sitting the module 1 test. Should the student not have the course paid in full by the required time they will not be put forward for the module 1 test.

VOUCHERS
Any individual purchasing a voucher for any of the above must note that there is a 6months valid from date. Should the student allow this date to expire the voucher will then become void and the value of the voucher will be lost to the purchaser.

CANCELLATION
Any individual purchasing any of the above has the right to cancel within 7 working days where a full refund will be given. Should the purchaser cancel a voucher within the 6 months period a refund will be given less the deposit for any courses or CBT.
